Hello, foodies! I’m back with an exciting recipe that’ll blow your socks off. It is quick and so delicious that you’ll be left craving for more.

This recipe of Stir Fried Baby Corn is my take on the classic stir-fry recipes (which are countless.) If you want to make Stir Fried Chicken then all you need to do is replace baby corns with chicken (just remember to boil chicken for 2-3 whistles instead of 1.)

Orange-Sweetlime Juice

Orange-Sweetlime Juice is one of those juices that washes away all your tiredness and irritation on a hot summer day just by looking at it.
It tastes great and has a lot of health benefits.

As you all know that I am a juice-lover (only fresh) this is always my first choice. It is really easy to make and I keep it a bit pulpy so it is quite filling too. Its best after a light workout or a jog.

As after any workout session it really gets quite frustrating to peel, cut and de-seed the fruits in order to be able to have fresh juice, I always make sure that I do all the peeling, cutting and de-seeding before I head for my workout. I keep the prepared fruits in an air-tight box in the fridge.  This way when I come back home, I just have to use the juicer and I am good to go.

I hope you’ll like is as much as I do. Here’s the recipe…


Orange: 2

Sweetlime: 2

Sugar: 1 tbsp

Orange flavoured Glucose: 2 tbsp (can use the plain glucose as well)

Chilled Water: 1 cup


        1.    Peel, cut and de-seed all the oranges and sweetlimes.

        2.    Take the juice jar or any container in which you will extract the juice and put the sugar, glucose and water in it. 

        3.    Extract the juice from juicer or mixer in this jar and mix well.

        4.    Serve chilled and have within 15 minutes to get the maximum benefits.


       1.    Glucose can be replaced by more sugar.

       2.    All the sugar can be replaced by glucose.

       3.    Can reduce or increase the quantities of either of the fruits.

       4.    Can add more water for thin (non-pulpy) juice.

Carrot-Beetroot Juice

I am juice lover. I prefer juices over any aerated drinks or sodas. And nothing can be compared to fresh juices, especially not the preserved ones. Having the packaged juices is actually of no good use as all the natural nutrients get destroyed.

Getting a juicer is all it takes to make the process of making juice easy and light. One can also make juice without a juicer in a mixer grinder in the big jar but then it adds an extra task of straining the juice.

After an hour of workout the only thing I crave for is a glass of Carrot-Beetroot Juice. Thanks to Vishal, as he makes sure that I always get one after my jogging and Zumba sessions. It’s really easy to make and tastes great.

It’s not only good for digestive system but also works wonders for skin. It gives a natural glow and believe it or not, gives you a fairer skin tone.
I can go on and on about this wonder juice as it has endless list of benefits. So try having this juice for more than a week and see the difference yourself.

To enjoy all the benefits of any juice drink it as soon as you make it.

Here’s the recipe…


Carrot- 7-8 (Big)
Beetroot- 1-1½
Lime Juice- ½ lemon
Honey (optional)


      1.   Wash carrots and beetroot and peel their skin.

      2.   Cut them in appropriate size a) Juicer: according to the opening of juicer or b) Mixer: small cubes.

      3.   Switch on the juicer/mixer and juice/grind.

      4.   If using mixer strain the juice.

      5.   Add cold water if you want to make the juice thin. (I like to keep the juices quite thick.)

      6.   Add lime juice and honey or sugar as per your taste.

      7.   Serve as soon as you’ve made it.
